This is a great podcast. It demystifies most of the confusion and misinformation that has been put out about women, their bodies and the changes we experience. Both women and men would benefit greatly by listening to Dr. Gunn’s interview.
Why men too? All men have women in their lives whom they care about and can help if they have a better understanding of what they’re going through. Just as women can do for them. Ignorance benefits no one.
I can say from personal experience that there is a ton of misconceptions and erroneous information spouted as fact that I have had to wade through to get to what is real. It’s hard to explain to someone else what you’re going through or what you need when you don’t have a firm grip on what that yourself.
Having the correct knowledge is key and having people around you who know, understand and support you is vital. It’s what we all need.
